Hiking Boots Shoes

If you have a pair of hiking boots or shoes sitting in your closet that you have not worn for a while, fishing is the perfect situation to pull them out and put them to work. For one, hiking boots/shoes are comfortable and durable. Therefore, as you walk from shore to shore, over rocks, and so on, you know the boots will grip because that is exactly what they were designed to do.

The one major drawback of hiking boots/shoes is that they are not necessarily the best choice for water. Because quality-hiking boots/shoes are made from leather, when they get wet, they become heavy, uncomfortable, and can crack. Additionally, if you want to dry them out, you can be sure it will take longer than overnight by the campfire.
