Spoons are extremely popular with all anglers. They work well, come in many different sizes and weights. Assuming you do not make your own spoon blanks the only tools you need are a pair of split ring pliers and a sharp knife. You probably already have everything you need to get going.
©Before you begin assembling the spoon. Attach any lure tape to the blank or paint the blade first if you are going to paint it.
Using a pair of split ring pliers, open the split ring and attach to the rear hole in the spoon blank. Attach a second split ring to the front hole. Now attach a crane swivel if you like to the front split ring.
^^ Attach the hook to the rear split ring. That's it!
