Tying flies takes a good deal of concentrated effort, and easily tires the mind, hands, and eyes. Even during the daytime, it is essential to work in good light - whether you are tying flies for half-an-hour or a whole day. A bright, preferably fluorescent, light overhead is ideal. Should this be insufficient, you may need an additional spotlight. {This should never be a fluorescent light: it will harm your eyesight.) Remember that too much light can be just as tiring as not enough light. Aim for a bright but comfortable level of lighting.
